💗 We started with 5 families joining our 1 weekly support group in 2021. Word of mouth was the main way people found us. Khriste did the What's Your Reason? podcast and Conversations with Friends to spread the word. KKC Cares also had a booth at the Moreau Community Block Party in Glens Falls, NY sharing information about childhood sexual abuse and raffling the children's book, Some Secrets Should Never Be Kept. Â
💗 In 2022, we had 206 families that could join our 4 weekly support groups. Referrals still coming from T.A.A.L.K. site. Khriste was interviewed for an article in Saratoga Family. And families were starting to find us! Â
💗 In 2023, we had grown to 331 families.  Families from other countries were finding us; we have families from the UK, Australia, Mexico and Canada that could join our groups. Parents were referring others in need to KKC Cares.
💗 By 2024, 413 families could join our support groups. Other agencies were regularly reaching out to refer us to their clients.
💗 In 2025, 497 families were able to join. Caregivers were continuing to find us sooner and sooner. Some as soon as 1 week after disclosure!Â
💗 Started 2026 with 579 families!
💕We have supported 25 parents through our advocacy and liaison work. And so many more through one-on-one support.Â
💞Our resources have continued to grow thanks to parents sharing and our board have been invaluable members of our team. Thank you!
📚Next we will be implementing our book program, where we will be donating Some Secrets Should Never Be Kept and I Said No! to 10 local libraries. While continuing our other work.Â
🩷It has been our honor to serve families for the last 5 years! Thank you!!!!! 🩷
